"I work in a range of styles, mainly in ink on paper. I love the combination of words, symbols and image: my influences are cartoons, graphic novels, advertising, posters, signs, cityscapes, animation, maps as much as other artists. My drawings are presented in their original form or scaled up as limited edition prints."
"Making my drawings is about losing myself in a world. I use spatters of colour as seeds for intricate drawings or I start from the bottom and work upwards, seeing where my pen takes me. Composition evolves through repetition and mutation of an element, so a lot of my work springs from an idea extruded, exploring variations on a theme, carrying things to their illogical conclusion."
